This is where I write down the trips. Not the polished version. The one where it rains, the fish is real, the s'mores are on the kid's face, and the story is the whole point. Out of New York City. Sometimes further.
How it works
You get the trip a family remembers for the rest of their lives, without doing any of the planning. Private land. A chef who cooks over fire. Someone who thinks about the weather, the chair, the meal, and the story your kids will tell about it years from now.
