The problem

Most restaurants run on a phone system that came with the space, a CRM that is really just a spreadsheet, and follow-ups that happen when a manager remembers to send one. The phone number is disconnected from the CRM, the CRM is disconnected from the follow-up, and the follow-up is disconnected from the outcome.
