Los Angeles Event Cocktail Production, End to End.
Los Angeles event cocktail production is a specific discipline: designing and running a beverage moment at scale, in Los Angeles, with an operator on the floor from load-in through close-out. This page explains how we work in LA, what we take, and what we do not.
Los Angeles event cocktail production is the full-scope engagement: menu, batching, staffing plan, on-site senior lead, and post-event debrief. For premieres, brand launches, agency dinners, and studio-hosted galas in LA. Production tier starts at $5,000 plus top-of-market per-head. Travel from NYC is billed at cost.
The full engagement.
- Menu design tuned to the LA room, the guest, and the peak-hour pace.
- Batching plan engineered to your peak-hour pour count.
- Named staffing ratios for the room, sourced through the JLCC LA bench.
- Rentals, ice, and glassware spec with vetted LA vendors.
- A JLCC senior on the floor from load-in through close-out.
- Written post-event debrief.
What we take.
Premieres, brand launches, agency dinners, and studio-hosted galas in LA. Guest counts from roughly 100 to 1,500. Rooms include sound stages, hotel ballrooms in Beverly Hills and DTLA, gallery spaces in the Arts District, private estates in the Hollywood Hills. If the beverage moment is a defining piece of the evening rather than a line item, this is the right scope.
NYC-based, in LA for the event.
JL Cocktail Co is based in New York and flies nationally for ultra-premium engagements. Travel, per diems, and on-the-ground logistics are billed at cost on top of the fee. The bench is coordinated locally in the target city. The senior lead on the floor is a JLCC principal, in the room from load-in through close-out.
Questions we hear from Los Angeles planners and hosts.
How is this different from a LA cocktail catering booking?
Cocktail catering is priced per head with a set menu and a bar team the caterer supplies. Los Angeles event cocktail production is a bespoke engagement: custom menu, custom batching plan, named staffing ratios, and a senior operator on the floor. The catering model is right for many events. This scope is right when the beverage moment is the headline.
What is the minimum guest count?
Production tier starts at $5,000 plus top-of-market per-head. For rooms smaller than roughly 75 to 100 guests, we usually recommend a shorter format or a different provider, and we will say so.
Do you provide bartenders in LA, or do we?
JLCC coordinates the bench through vetted LA contacts and partner networks. Every bartender is booked and briefed by JLCC before the event. The senior on the floor is a JLCC principal. Client does not need to source staff.
